just got back from shopping at bugis with yin, sj, jo and qing. supposed to be all gals outing de la, but apparently jo didnt mind being the sole guy to shop with gals (since he ended up meeting friends everywhere. seriously u should go do a carlsberg ad or smth man).
didnt shop for long cos we spent too much time eating, but there wasnt much to look at anyw. couldnt get my exfoliator cos they dun bring it in anymore (taobao here i come!) but i did get smth i like -- yea, i got myself a nice skinny tie.
ok so im supposed to be glad cos i got it @ $8 (which is so much cheaper than corporate places like yellow, but still slightly ex than taobao) but the thing is, i had to spend so much time deciding on getting it cos the gals werent helpful!
shouldn't ur friends like put in good suggestions whenever you shop with them? its like qing keeps going,"it look likes your tongue when you ________" like PLEASE ITS A TIE NOT TONGUE and she keeps asking me to buy this cliche tie that totally reeks of the 80's disco night (its a checkered pink & black btw). lucky jo was there (next time i'll shop with the guys liao) to help me decide. at least his comments were more appropriate lol.
& as if it wasnt bad enough, the shop owner was staring at me beadily the whole time i was choosing, as though i was wasting his time? FGS i'm not the only customer just give me time to choose!!!
watching America's Best Dance Crew now... thank god they kicked fly khicks out(should've done that
long ago)... ohh i hope quest crew wins....
